Sauti za Viola

A recital put together by the Nairobi Music Society Alto Section. They have invited the viola players of Sauti za Viola to join them in presenting a musical deep dive into the beauty of the middle voices in music from different centuries.

The movement ‘Sauti za Viola’ was founded in February 2024, premiering at a first concert in April 2024, featuring 16 violists on stage. It was inspired by Masala Sefu’s “Cellobration” and has the mission to make the viola more known and encourage viola players to rise and shine.
